Spiritual Direction
![]() | Spiritual direction is the process of accompanying people on a spiritual journey. One person, (the directee) together with another (the director) spend time together to develop and deepen the directee’s relationship with God. The Spiritual Director listens attentively to the Spirit of God in the directee’s journey. A Spiritual Direction session typically lasts 45 minutes to an hour. Spiritual Direction is not therapy or counseling. After the first 3-4 sessions, sessions are usually scheduled for once a month. Conversations are confidential and take place in the context of prayerful listening. If you are interested in Spiritual Direction, speak with the rector who will guide and work with you in finding the appropriate spiritual director for you. |
